LINK-RE-LATERS
Hey boys and girls,
this week, it’s time for DO IT YOURSELF… the industry nowadays has nearly everything to buy. For every purpose there is a “perfect” tool to buy. But do you always have to buy something? No! Definitly not. With some craftsmanship and some ideas you can save a lot of money. Best example is something you really need once but no more afterwards. Perhaps the best way is to build it by your own.
Keep in mind that there is one part of DIY that is very critical. The process of setting up the stuff… DIY gear is pretty weak when you move your gear every day from one place to another…
But try it out yourself. Have fun with the links
See you next week!

LINK-RE-LATERS
FOTOGRAFIEREN IST MEHR ALS TECHNIK, MEHR ALS FASHION UND GUTE LAUNE…Hello boys and girls… today I aks Marc to give me the “post”-slot of the weekly LINK-RE-LATER. These days, I found a website which kept me over half an hour watching photographs. And I do want to share it with you. The link is already pretty famous but I didn’t knew it and others probably won’t do as well.
Best photo ever is the picture of the hand with the bible in it… the one drop of blood running down the skin and the policemen in the back… I am sure I couldn’t take a photo like that…
INTRODUCING SOME MORE INFORMATION!
Hello everybody,
so today we want to start a new threat-blog-series. We will start several different series for different topics. Here is a short overview of the new categories.
- TECHNICAL-# = TECHNICAL TUTORIAL where we present some photographic euqipement which is used by ourself and which we can highly recommend for you use.
- SETUP-# = LIGHTING SETUP TUTORIAL where we explain the use of different lighting techniques either in form of videos or by pictured text with an individual photograph as an example.
- LIGHTING-# = THEORETICAL LIGHTING TUTORIAL in which we discuss the general use of certain techniques.
- VIDEO-#-GER = VIDEO TUTORIALS IN GERMAN!!! about a lot of different topics. So this category contains information of all other categories. For the first time (a year or so…) all of the videos will be recorded and published in German.
- VIDEO-#-ENG = VIDEO TUTORIALS IN ENGLISH!!! about a lot of different topics. The same as above. We have already started to tape some special shootings in English but we will finish the German section first. So be patient.
We cannot avoid mixing up some of the categories in some chases. You cannot put photography into 4 simple structures. We try, but it will eventually happen that e.g. you find some information about a setup in a tutorial about technical stuff or otherway round.
By the way, you will find all of the tutorials in a small summary in the sidebar to your right! :-) –>

FIRST LESSON: Start mixing up all the information in your head. Good photography needs all components working together. You can’t just know the theory. If you read one thing in our blog, start asking youself questions wether you can find examples in our galleries photographed that way with that particular thechnique. Or even more important… start asking youself where this particular thechnique could have been used in an alternative way.
And tomorrow we will start with the first new post. But right now, there are already two video posts online (GERMAN). Check it out.
